Do you have enough art supplies to shake a stick at? Are you looking to declutter your studio space, but feel guilty about not knowing where your donated supplies go to? Do you want to get into a new craft, but aren’t sure where to start or don’t know what to buy? We’ve got a solution for you! Third Space is happy to partner with the Saint John Free Public Library to host our first ever Art Supply Swap! This event is free to attend, open to everyone, and a great opportunity to share your love of art with your community. Join us on Saturday, February 21st from 12pm-4pm at the Saint John Free Public Library’s Main Branch in Uptown Saint John to add, browse, and/or take from our spread of gently used art supplies, crafts, mediums, and materials. Stock up on a new hobby, grab a tool you’ve been looking for, or try something entirely new! This event was created to help bring our creative community together, with new and experienced artists alike, to share our love for art making without any financial strings attached.   How to participate:

1. Donate* your gently loved art supplies during one of our drop off dates below (this step is optional!)
2. Browse our selection of used craft supplies, materials, mediums, and tools
3. Collect a new hobby, medium, or craft that catches your eye
4. Mingle with likeminded folks, you never know if you’ll find a new art friend or pick up some handy tricks!

  Best of all, you can bring your newfound craft to our Drink & Draw sessions! Consider this a new years resolution to make more art with those around you, and share your progress along the way.   Drop off dates:

• Sunday, February 1st, 1pm-4pm at Picaroons General Store (32 Canterbury Street, Saint John, NB E2L 2C5), during our Drink & Draw session!
• Saturday, February 21st, 12pm-4pm at the Saint John Free Public Library- Main Branch (1 Market Square, Saint John, NB E2L 4Z6), day of the Art Supply Swap!

  Reminders:

• Please only bring art supplies and materials that are in good condition
• Only take what you think you will use
• All leftover supplies will be donated to a local cause (L’Arche Creative Connections, Saint John Arts Centre, etc.!)
