- Who: This event is open to everyone, but please note that voting matters are restricted to Third Space members only
- What: Join us for light refreshments, friendly faces, and a presentation that looks at our year in review!
What is an AGM?
An annual general meeting (AGM) is a meeting of the general membership of an organization. Becoming a Third Space member is easy, we have various membership tiers and benefits for those who support our organization. Not a Third Space member yet? Check out our

At our AGM, we will…
- Tell you all about what Third Space has been up to,
- Share our plans for the upcoming year,
- Elect new members to the Board of Directors,
- Answer your questions!
Expressions of Interest are open!
Being affiliated with the Third Space Board of Directors offers a unique opportunity to engage with your community, help with THIRD SHIFT, and participate in new learning experiences! If you’re interested in being a part of a low-commitment, artistically-driven group of people, you’ll fit right in. Board members meet once every other month and collaborate to create policies, new initiatives, and curate programming to help Third Space serve its community. Guide the direction of Saint John’s only artist-run centre and make some great connections while you’re with us!
For those interested in putting their name forward, please send us an email with the following information to be considered:

- Artist CV
- Other relevant documents that you think would support your application, such as a letter of reference (optional)
- Let us know who you are! What is your work/life background? How do you fit into the arts community? We want to hear about you!
Upon confirmation of receipt of your email, expressions of interest will be shared with the Board President, Lindsay Jacquard, as well as the nominations committee. Once reviewed, we will inform applicants of the slate of recommendations for new board members ahead of the AGM. Any individuals who have been selected are expected to be in attendance at the AGM so that they may be formally voted in.
