THIRD SHIFT: PSYCHE

THIRD SHIFT, Saint John’s signature Art at Night event, will take to the streets this summer celebrating its 10th anniversary! Join us during the weekend of Friday, August 16th, through Sunday, August 18th, for a multitude of events, including art installations, screenings, workshops, artist talks, and more!

THEME /// PSYCHE

THIRD SHIFT’s theme for 2024 is “psyche”, selected by Third Space’s Artist in Residence Tara Audibert, a Wolastoqiyik multidisciplinary artist & filmmaker with 25 years of experience in animation, comics, and fine art.

Psyche encompasses the entirety of our inner world, from physical to mental health. It is an invitation to artists to navigate the profound complexities of consciousness and the human condition, transcending boundaries and creating new intersections of thought and expression.

While it is important to maintain a balance in all aspects of life, this year’s lineup of artworks explore how our psyches extrapolate and intertwine, no matter the size, medium, or subject matter.
