01.15.16 Roberto Santaguida: Sage it Stood

Sage it Stood, is a multi-channel documentary film installation by filmmaker, Roberto Santaguida that explores a panorama of contemporary life in Saint John, New Brunswick, through brief encounters with five residents.

Since receiving his BFA in film production from Concordia University, Roberto Santaguida has worked in film and video.  His first films Miraslava, Haikus for Karaoke and Goran screened in over 250 international festivals and collected a number of prizes.  Over the last four years, Roberto was the recipient of the K.M. Hunter Artist Award, the Linda Joy Award and a fellowship from the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Germany.

This project is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and presented in partnership with the City of Saint John Gallery. Special thanks to the Saint John Arts Centre for their support and to all who participated in this project.
