This was the project: three hundred and eighty two texts on three hundred and eighty two t-shirts; a different one every day for more than a year. These were day-to-day acts of self-representation in an image economy obsessed with symbol management and branding. They were both a uniform and a disguise.
Over four days you will find sophia bartholomew keeping shop from 9 AM to 9 PM at 122 Germain Street, liquidating all remaining inventory from her project make yourself aversion of your self, alongside dead stock from Christa Treadwell’s project, Break Up Cakes.
Admission is free, all are welcome, prices are negotiable.
Everything must go.
